Search Ambassador Form
PURPOSE - To serve as an effective and powerful voice to support the SEARCH Foundation while acting as a local liaison to the SEARCH Outreach Committee.

QUALIFICATIONS - Ambassadors must be engaged in the special events, meetings or hospitality industry.

Ambassadors should possess the ability to listen, analyze, think clearly and creatively, as well as work well with people individually and in a group. They should also possess honesty, sensitivity to and tolerance of differing views, a friendly, responsive, and patient approach, community-building skills, personal itegrity, a developed sense of values, and concern for the SEARCH Foundation's development. Demonstrated skills in soliciting funds, recruiting new committee members and other volunteers, and understanding of social media platforms.

EXPECTATIONS

Time Commitment: The SEARCH Ambassador roles are per calendar year and will be up for renewal annually. They will average one conference call per quarter, plus individual and task force assignments which must be conducted on your own time.

Financial Commitment: SEARCH Ambassadors are strongly encouraged to join the SEARCH 100 program as a testament towards your commitment to helping those in need.

Outreach Objectives:

  • Familiarize yourself with the SEARCH mission, toolkit and media assets
  • Reshare social media posts from SEARCH on your professional and personal channels
  • Promote SEARCH in person events that take place during industry conferences
  • Liaise with chapters and event/hospitality professionals to promote the mission of SEARCH and expand fundraising efforts
  • Additional tasks as assigned by the Outreach Committee

Examples of Fundraising Expansion:

  • Become a SEARCH 100 member
  • Become a sponsor providing goods or services to a fundraiser
  • Provide items to auctions that benefit SEARCH
  • Make a yearly or one-time donation online, at https://searchfoundation.org/donate
    Make a dontation in memory or in honor of someone
  • Buy a SEARCH heart pin to signigy you care
  • Buy tickets or VIP booths to SEARCH fundraising events
  • Ask your company to match employee donations to SEARCH
  • Donate a portion of proceeds from sales or bookings to SERARCH

Confidentiality Agreement

I agree that my responsibility, as a member of the SEARCH Foundation Ambassadors Program, is to keep confidential any matters discussed during meetings.

By signing this Agreement, I agree not to discuss or divulge any information to individuals who are not currently members of the SEARCH Foundation Board of Directors or committee members.

I agree that I will in no way release information that will allow individuals to be privy to the SEARCH Foundation’s conversations or that would allow them to draw conclusions that could jeopardize the organization.
